Dont use a lot of heat to your if you wash your hair every 2 weeks try to only curl once or twice. Dont perm it very close together.Clip your ends with every perm and keep your scalp greased.

You have to keep it trimmed every six weeks. If you don't trim it, then it will keep braking off and will never grow. Braids actually hurt your hair. Do you see a lot of pieces of hair fall when you take your braids down? Thats all breakage. People think braids help their hair because their hair is a little longer when they take the braids down. NOT TRUE. Also, try and keep as much heat off the hair as possible. Hope this helps. :)

You would really have to ask your hairstylist that one as it depends on the thickness and hair type and texture you have.

Most women wear their hair in a pony tail as it gets longer.

Cut your hair every 6 weeks a 1/4 inch so the ends don't split and make your hair frizzy and not worth the going out idea.

When I wanted to grow out my dye I just semi-permantly dyed it for a bit. Semi-permant isn't as damaging and it fades so you don't have really bad roots. A semi lasts about 3 weeks to a month so after a couple of dyes you can stop. I found that the dye at the ends of my hair had faded so it matched my natural hair color a lot more. This method isn't perfect but it means that you don't have to chop acres of to go back to natural.

do you mean become natural? otherwise keep it permed and conditioned. I'm natural but i do wear braids, sometimes sew-ins. just know that the hair will need a break for the braids to prevent damage to the edges. If your hair is evenly cut, it looks nice as being natural. it all depends on how bad you want to be natural because natural hair is more high maintenance than permed hair. thank goodness for braids or i wouldn't be able to do it(getting ready to lock it)

have you tried a straw set? You get your hair set in straws, and the only eat that is used is from a bonnet dryer. The set usually last a week or more.

welll, THAT what im in the process of doing myself.

uhm...i havent relaxed it in like....6 months??

what i did was, when my new growth came in i texurized it. a BIG risk but i did it and it came out fine.

there really and truely is no other way but to just give it time and take care of it. try not to put it up alot. do different styles.
