A good Shampoo and Conditioner for Black African Hair?

I have lots of problems with my african hair. My hair is dry, short (not really but I want it longer), brittle, very thin (lost lots of hair), thirsty for oil (I have to put lots of oils in my hair), rips easly (not strong), curly, wavy, puffy (when I brush it, or others), frizzy like african hair and it is sometimes soft when I put lots of oils. I used lots of shampoo's and conditioners but none of them worked real good on my hair. I tryed Herbal Expression (rose hips) and also the shampoo (fruit fusions) but it didn't worked real good, tresemme shampoo gave me some volume and silkness but I lost lots of hair, Pantene Provine was pretty good but never gave me the hair I wanted. All of these shampoo's and conditioner worked but I still lost lots of hair, have some balled spots on my head, had to use lots of african hair oils and it kills me, and always have to braid my hair, if I don't then it will be dry and yeah. patene pro-v...leave the conditioner in but only put a little...also check out dr. miracles...it's great...try fermadoyl every 3-4 weeks (it's a leave in conditioner that's good...it works with brittleness and strenghtens hair...swap that out with the pantene from time to time)

Mizani is the best shampoo and conditioner and they have a WONDERFUL oil sheen. I like those and also the DOO GRO oil for when I'm under the hair dryer (in place of a wrapping lotion).

The Mizani can be pricey, though, but worth the investment if you're serious about taking care of your hair.

well you should use pantene leave in conditioner to stop it frizzing when out

but to really hydrate your hair

forget blow drying, it takes all the water out of your hair

then weekly use a hair mask

and bi weekly use vofive hot oil treatment it better than other hot oils as it's heat ativated so it will wont make your hair look greasy or dirty

lastly use either hair spray or mouse not both

sometimes too much product can take the life out of hair
