I want wavy hair?

i have really straight hair and i want wavy hair! not like braid wavy hair, though. i dont want to spend to much time on getting wavy hair. any suggestions?

Next time you get a haircut ask the salon if you can get a razor cut instead of scissor cut...my friend has really straight hair and they just used a razor for the bottom of hair and she loves her hairstyle....If you live in NY Bumble and Bumble has free haircut modeling sessions...when u show up they'll tell u if your hair is good enough and put u in a class just for razoring..good luck!

So. Wavy. Hm.

Try using a special shampoo ment for wavy/curly hair. ( Such as Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner!) It may give a little boost. Also, try a curling mousse. and blow dry it. This may give it a more wavy look.

Also, I know you don't want it like..braided..but try doing one loose braid for wavvy hair, or a few loose braids for more waves!

Take alook at this! They make things like this, and crimpers! Now-a-days they have everything :P

Try using sprunch spray by Aussie.. it works pretty well if you want waves.. Or try a curling iron

what you do is. get some hair jell. ( like teh frutis kind ) and when your hair is wet scrunch it ( since yur hair is straight put some hair spray in it to keep teh waves in ) and just let your hair air dry and your straight hair will be wavy!!! haha. kay hope i helped. good luck!

I know you said you didn't want to braid your hair, but it really is one of the best ways to get your straight hair to have waves. Wash you hair, the night before, and braid it. Next morning, shake the braids out, then put hairspray on it, so that it will keep the waves throughout the day. It's been my experience that most of the hair products that claim to give you waves don't really. You still have to do something to encourage the curl. The product just helps the curl stay longer. You could also put some mousse into your wet hair before braiding, then when you shake it out, you shouldn't need hairspray. Just remember that using most products can build up on your hair, so get a clarifier that will take the stuff out, so that your hair will be healthy. %26lt;*)))%26gt;%26lt;

Separate your hair into two sections (as if you were going to make two pigtails), wrap each section around a chopstick, and push the point of the chopstick through your hair so that it's secure. Then mist your hair with water (unless it's still slightly damp after a shower), set the style with a blow-dryer, and wait about five minutes before taking out the chopsticks.
