What are jheri curls and if they are like very curly curls and you wanna braid your hair your hair will get WAYYY too curly and knotty!

It will not mess it up, but you must wash it and blow dry it straight FIRST. That way the braids will stay neater longer and won't frizz up. I just need to know...WHY do you still have a jheri curl.
