I want to braid all of my hair in TINY (and i mean VERY tiny braids--a couple of strands each)...?

with really REALLY small braids i could easily wash my hair and all but i was wondering if when i decide to take the braids out if it will ruin my hair...

ideas? maybe? yes? no?

Why would you want to do this to your hair? It will fall out.

no, dont do it. it is very painful to remove

What kind of hair do you have? Who is going to be braiding all this? It does sound like it will damage your hair, just because it would probably get really tangled when you try to take it out. It just doesn't sound very practical in the long run.

u'll probably pull out more hair than braiding it, so dont do it

Talk to your hairstylist. I did that to my hair when I went to Virgin Islands and kept them in for 2 weeks. When i washed it out, all the dead hair came out when I finally took the braids out. I think it would be fine if you did it for a couple of days, but not more than a week.

i woiuld not recommend washing your hair if you plan on keeping it in braids. you will have soaked hair staying in a braid and that will not be healthy for it.

just know, when you take the braids out, you will have crimped hair and you probably will have a headache. also when you take them out, a lot of hair will come out with it.

try to not keep it in for a long time.

i did that when i was younger and my hair poofed up with crimping. i liked how it looked, but this was also back in like 95.

i did that before! it looks cute! and it doesn't ruin your hair at all, but depending on how long you leave them in and if your hair is wet when you put them in, you're hair may look a little bit crimped! Go for it anyway! I'm sure any style of hair looks nice on you!

It would take FOREVER to do it, and yes, it would probably damage your hair when you took them out. You could try micro braids. They're not made up of a few strands of hair but they're very small. I think they look really nice. You could try micro braids with the ends unraveled. I've seen that done before, you can style it more if the ends are unraveled. So they wouldn't unravel completely you could try tying something on each braid where the braiding ends. And when you want to take them out, just remove the tie. It wouldn't damage your hair either.

unless you have ethnic hair that has a little 'kink' to it - small braids wont last long. plus it takes hours when you want micro-braids and i dont think itll be worth it with your hair type. they will get fuzzy and it will be worthless.

opt for cornrolls of french braids for your hair type.
