Im a guy growing my hair out long. I havent had a haircutsince june of this year. I was wondering how much longer i should have to wait until i can wear my hair in a ponytail braided or french braided?

i have layers and they're a little above my shoulders, and i can still manage to put my hair in a ponytail
but its a little hard, so i suggest getting it to your shoulders

I would guess the hair should be as long as to reach the base of your neck
