How do you get tangles out of a three year olds hair?

My daughter has really curly, long, baby fine hair and if you dont brush it every morning and every night it gets so tangled that its difficult to brush. Ive tried the whole braiding her hair but she doesnt like her hair up and i tried using the kids detangler but it doesnt work for me. What could I possibly use or do?

The best thing I have found is pantene pro-v conditioner my 3 year old grandaughter has the same hair. It was always a fight and tears to get a brush through it before, now it's a breeze. You do need to use a generous amount. I've also tried the equate copy cat conditioner and it works almost as well - I prefer the scent of the pantene.

I have curly curly hair too and it's a hassle! What you do, is find a conditioner or/and shampoo that's for curly hair. But since she IS only three, I'd use baby shampoo. But as far as brushing it? Start from the ends and work your way up, but do it gently so you don't rip any hair out.

With my 4 year old who HATES tangles DRAMMMAAA!! When she is in the bath I put conditioner in her hair and while it is still in I brush it through and the tangles come out so easily then. As soon as she gets out I towel dry then brush and blow dry. If you blow dry it straight that will probably help keep the tangles out too!
