Can anyone tell me how I can get the oil out of my hair that is leftover from when it was braided in

When I was on vacation, I got my hair done in cornrows. The woman who was doing it put a waxy oil in my hair to keep the braids together. I just took out the braids this morning and have showered three times, but I can't get it back to normal. It feels like my hair is coated in gel. I've been showering with really hot water, but it doesn't seem to help...

Try dishsoap that might work it cuts thru grease and oil from cooking. It's worth a shot! Good Luck

Try shampooing your hair with baking soda. You might have to wash it a couple of times. Good Luck!

Try using a clarifying shampoo. That should do the trick!

Good Luck!

all you have to do is...

then rub it in your hair for awhile

then rinse it out with warm water... i hope this helps:)
